I work for the city in here in Kamloops British Columbia. I make what I consider a good wage $52,000.00 yr (gross) and I cannot afford to even buy a beat up crack shack here. I live a hour outside of town and communte every day. Rents in town have gone from 700 to 900 to 1500 for a two bedroom suite. Today they just said the college here took in 400 new international students (where are they staying?) yet no one living here can find a place to rent and if you do you better take it no matter how good or bad it is.
